Deluge Water Spray Systems
Unlike an Automatic Sprinkler System where only the heads in the immediate fire area will operate, a Deluge Water Spray System will allow all heads to operate simultaneously providing a full blanket of water coverage over a given area such as tanker loading & offloading bays, petrochemical stores, aircraft hangers and areas where flammable liquid spill fires may occur. Deluge systems can be operated by manual activation or automatically by the actuation of a fire detection system such as a wet pilot sprinkler line, dry pilot sprinkler line, pneumatic rate-of-rise or electric detection.
Expanding Foam Systems
Expanding foam systems are useful where it may be hazardous to pump water directly onto a fire. Such instances include chemical or fuel fires as well as aircraft hangars, processing plants and warehouses. The foam-water mix uses the minimum amount of water depending on the hazard and provides a foam-blanket cover to the affected area. Foam systems can be operated by manual activation or automatically by the actuation of a fire detection system such as dry pilot sprinkler line, pneumatic rate-of-rise or electric detection.
