Sprinkler Wet Installations

Automatic wet sprinkler installations are the most common form of sprinkler installations used to protect those buildings which are unlikely to drop below freezing such as shopping centers, supermarkets, airports, residential properties, care homes, hotels, schools, offices, warehouses, and factories.

A wet system is permanently charged with water and is activated when heat from a fire rises to the high level where the sprinkler heads are present. The heat causes the bulb or fuse on the sprinkler head to break which releases the water.

Only the heads over the fire area will operate and will provide enough water coverage to control or extinguish the fire.
